Susan Wild is one of seven female Democratic candidates for Congress in Pennsylvania, a state that has no female representatives in Congress. PA-7 is a district that includes the Lehigh Valley and was reconfigured as part of Pennsylvania's redistricting ahead of the midterms. Wild, a lawyer and first-time Democratic candidate, would go on to defeat Marty Nothstein, a Republican former Olympic and professional cyclist, and become the first woman ever to represent the Lehigh Valley in Congress.
